After my Masters diploma in Finland, I went to the Royal Conservatory in the Hague (KonCon) to specialize in Early Music. In the conservatory also offered lessons in the Alexander Technique (AT) which were my introduction to the AT.

It was when I started teaching baroque double bass in the Helsinki Conservatory in 2006, that I realized how much the AT had helped me in playing my instrument, practicing, performing and handling demanding social situations. I decided to train as an AT teacher myself, graduating the three year full time training in 2011.

Currently I'm teaching Alexander Technique and music at the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki, Novia University of Applied Sciences and at the studio Alexander Technique Amsterdam.
